Coworking and collaborative spaces are among the most important places for the creation of an active, proactive and interconnected social innovation ecosystem.

The Covid-19 emergency obviously has had a disruptive impact also for these places. It is necessary to elaborate on how to re-start safely by rethinking the spaces and  their management models, identifying the innovation opportunities that can be seized in this difficult situation.

In the framework of Torino Social Impact, the Turin operators who manage and animate these spaces have created a group to discuss the issue. The first meeting allowed to focus on both immediate needs and medium and long term challenges. In the second meeting, one month after loosening of lockdown, the difficulties and prospects of the reopening were shared and the need for a flexible and agile approach was highlighted.

The next goal will be designed and shared ways of stable cooperation, which will strengthen the network of dialogue and confrontation and which will promote a common representation.

New meetings will be organized and information will be dispalyed on this page. Anyone interested in contributing can contact  info@torinosocialimpact.it

The following partners participate to the working group coordinated by Torino Social Impact : Città di Torino, Confcooperative, Fablab, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Hackability, Impact Hub Torino, Open IncetSocialFare / Rinascimenti Sociali, Talent Garden and Toolbox. Also the Copernico center takes part in the working group.
