On 27 November 2025, the OP4Impact Manifesto was presented at the Chamber of Commerce. The document is the outcome of a shared journey aimed at integrating legal, administrative, accounting, notarial and labour expertise, developed within the framework of Torino Social Impact. It represents a concrete commitment by Professional Associations to integrate social impact into a shared vision of work.
The Manifesto was jointly drafted by four professional bodies: the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Turin, the Turin Bar Association, the Order of Labour Consultants of Turin, and the Notarial Council of the United Districts of Turin and Pinerolo.
The statement of intent is the result of a process that enhanced the distinctive competencies of each professional order while simultaneously fostering collaboration and transformative learning. The OP4Impact – “Professional Orders for Impact” – Community of practice, a working group focused on legal, administrative, accounting and labour expertise, was established within Torino Social Impact, the territorial platform for social impact entrepreneurship and investment promoted by the Turin Chamber of Commerce.
The project is supported by the Turin Chamber of Commerce and the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, as well as by the four professional orders. It is coordinated and facilitated by Torino Social Impact, Cottino Social Impact Campus and ISTUD.
“The Manifesto represents the outcome of interdisciplinary work involving four professional orders, united by the goal of pooling legal, economic, technical and social expertise, creating synergies and promoting positive impact across the local ecosystem. This initiative aligns perfectly with the mission of Torino Social Impact, which the Chamber of Commerce strongly supports as part of its commitment to fostering the spread and strengthening of a positive-impact economy for the benefit of both people and the territory, in line with the Metropolitan Plan for the Social Economy Torino 2030. The presence of a representative of the liberal professions within the Chamber Council has also facilitated dialogue on these issues,” said Massimiliano Cipolletta, President of the Turin Chamber of Commerce.
“The OP4Impact Community of Practice represents an advanced laboratory in which Chartered Accountants, in their administrative and accounting role, are evolving toward a new function: not only technical experts in economic data, but also mediators of meaning between economic and social value. From this perspective, the role of the accountant is enriched with a sociological dimension, contributing to understanding and supporting organisational transformation within the social economy,” said Luca Asvisio, President of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Turin.
“The OP4Impact Community of Practice has been a pleasant discovery, demonstrating the importance of bringing together and coordinating diverse professional skills to spread a culture of sustainability within the broader cultural, social and economic context of the territory. It is a space for sharing and collaboration among professional orders, united by the desire to place their expertise at the service of the common good,” said Simona Grabbi, President of the Turin Bar Association.
“As Labour Consultants, our participation in OP4Impact is rooted in the awareness of the social function of our profession in a rapidly evolving world of work. The aim is to move beyond individualistic and sector-based approaches and pool our distinctive expertise on human capital. This Manifesto represents our programmatic commitment to promoting an interprofessional approach that is essential for generating lasting and positive impact in the territory, offering a model that can also be replicated in other contexts,” said Fabrizio Bontempo, President of the Order of Labour Consultants of Turin.
“As Notaries, we actively participated in the discussions, sharing practical experiences, discovering innovative solutions, experimenting with new working methods and collaborating on concrete projects. We take away new perspectives and a professional support network that enrich our work and motivate us to strengthen our contribution to social impact,” said Alessandro Scilabra, President of the Notarial Council of the United Districts of Turin and Pinerolo.
During the press conference, alongside the presentation of the Manifesto, the work carried out by the Community of practice was also shared. This collaborative process helped define and enhance a shared vision, values and objectives for the future.
Contributions were made by the coordinators Davide Barberis (Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Turin), Paola Baldassarre (Turin Bar Association), Gabriele Gili (Notarial Council of the United Districts of Turin and Pinerolo), Giorgia Sanmartino (Order of Labour Consultants of Turin), and Caterina Soldi (Cottino Social Impact Campus and ISTUD), who illustrated and facilitated the OP4Impact journey within the framework of Torino Social Impact.
