The Community of Practice on Spaces of Democracy is carried out within the framework of the European project B.Right Spaces, launched in March 2024 and supported by the European Commission under the CERV Programme. Its goal is to strengthen the collective capacity of local public authorities and territorial organizations to support, promote, and protect local civic spaces, recognized as key actors in safeguarding democratic values and citizens’ rights.

A first meeting – organized by Torino Social Impact, the City of Turin, and Labsus – brought together representatives of public administration, third-sector organizations, informal groups, and active citizens to explore and highlight civic practices and the spaces where they take shape in the Turin context. It was an opportunity to foster dialogue on rights, active participation, and social innovation as a cross-cutting element.
