Mind The Gap is a transfeminist festival launched in 2021 in Turin—a three-day intensive event where The Goodness Factory fosters open dialogue on gender issues, blending multiple languages of expression: theatre performances, stand-up comedy, exhibitions, concerts, and book and essay presentations on feminism, sexuality, body positivity, and new generations. All of this takes place in a spirit of exchange and dialogue.

It is the city’s very first transfeminist festival and has been running for five years now: a collective moment of dialogue, debate, and gathering that engages the territory and the communities within it. The festival is a shared, co-designed proposal that actively involves diverse groups and collaborative practices with local citizens.

Mind The Gap’s mission is to raise awareness and promote understanding of transfeminism, showing how the gender gap intersects with other forms of discrimination faced by specific community groups.
