From Cagliari to Cava de’ Tirreni, via Milan and Vilnius: the roadshow of the European TOUCH project is now underway, bringing the discussion on the Outcome Fund and impact finance to new territories and engaging institutions, social economy actors and local stakeholders.

How can financial resources contribute to generating concrete and measurable social impact? And how can funding models be developed that link investment to the results achieved?

These are some of the questions at the heart of the dissemination roadshow of the European TOUCH project, coordinated by Torino Social Impact, which has begun with its first stops in Italy and will continue over the coming months with new national and European events.

At the core of the TOUCH project is the development and testing of an Outcome Fund in Piedmont, aimed at promoting employment and skills development for young NEETs — young people who are not in employment, education or training.

The outcome-based financing model aims to strengthen the link between the resources invested and the social changes actually achieved, fostering collaboration between public administrations, investors and the organisations delivering the interventions.

TOUCH aims to contribute to the development of a model that can be replicated in other European territories and adapted to different social needs and local priorities. The roadshow was created precisely to share the financial model developed within the project, encourage discussion across different territorial ecosystems on the conditions required to replicate the instrument, and explore the opportunities offered by outcome-based finance: a model that links funding to the achievement of defined and measurable social outcomes.
