What does digital sustainability mean? And how aware are we of it?

These are some of the questions that Sloweb, a partner of Torino Social Impact, is addressing to the organisations in the network through a dedicated listening tool. The pathway was created to explore the theme of digital sustainability and understand how technologies have an impact not only on the environmental level, but also on the social and governance dimensions.

Starting from the responses collected and from a first analysis of the websites of the organisations involved, Sloweb proposes a shift in perspective: looking beyond the everyday use of digital tools to question the culture that guides their management. The aim is to open a shared conversation, recognise existing practices and identify new areas for improvement, supporting the ecosystem towards a more sober, clean and fair digital environment.
