An evening of music offering a concrete opportunity to strengthen local emergency services.
On December 5, Cipo Sugar Band will perform a charity concert at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin in support of the Italian Red Cross – Turin Committee.
The funds raised will contribute to the purchase of a new ambulance to replace the Advanced Nursing Rescue Vehicle that was seriously damaged in a road accident on July 3, while responding to an emergency.
The vehicle had entered service only a few weeks before the accident and was rendered unusable, depriving the local area of an essential resource for emergency healthcare.
A New Emergency Vehicle for the Community
A new ambulance means having access to a modern, safe vehicle equipped with the tools needed to respond to medical emergencies, enabling emergency crews to intervene effectively and ensuring that people receive timely and appropriate assistance from the very first moments of an emergency response.
It is a concrete investment in the safety and health of the entire community.
“When we heard about the accident, our first thought was for the people on board. Today, we are looking ahead with a very concrete goal: to bring a modern, fully equipped ambulance back onto the streets of Turin, available to the entire community,” says Michele Furci, President of the Italian Red Cross – Turin Committee.
“We are truly grateful to Cipo Sugar Band for choosing to support us through this initiative. I invite everyone in Turin to take part: it will be a wonderful evening of music and sharing, but above all an opportunity to contribute together to something our city needs.”
