Partnerships between social economy enterprises and mainstream businesses

Within the scope of the European project BUY SOCIAL, which aims to promote innovative forms of procurement among private companies to support the growth of businesses and socially impactful activities, a detailed report has been prepared to explore, through the analysis of some particularly relevant cases, the partnership between enterprises operating in the social economy and those operating in the traditional economy.

Specifically, social economy enterprises with long-standing partnerships with traditional enterprises were analyzed: Urbike & Facq (Belgium), La Varappe & ONET (France), Naturgy (Spain), Ikea & I-Did (Netherlands), and Goel (Italy).

The report also includes a section dedicated to the analysis of the various entities examined: their history, from their inception to their development, the economic and social context in which they have grown, the objectives they have achieved, and the goals they have set for the future.
