Applications are open until September 14, 2026 for the fourth stop of the Benefit Competition, the first national competition dedicated to Italian Benefit Corporations and to businesses intending to undertake this path.
The Benefit Competition continues: the initiative promoted by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy to highlight and connect companies committed to combining competitiveness, corporate responsibility and positive impact on local territories.
The fourth stop is scheduled for October 16, 2026 in Padua, at the SMACT Competence Center, and is organised in collaboration with the Padua Chamber of Commerce as part of City Vision Week.
The event is dedicated to companies that have developed projects and initiatives capable of generating, alongside profit, concrete benefits for communities, the environment and the territories in which they operate. Participation is open to Benefit Companies already established and legally based in Italy, as well as to companies that are considering adopting this legal form and intend to begin a path aligned with the principles of responsible and sustainable enterprise.
The Benefit Competition unfolds through a national pathway structured around territorial stops. For each event, an application phase allows finalist companies to be selected and given the opportunity to present their projects during an in-person event, in front of a qualified jury and an audience made up of institutions, companies, local stakeholders and sector experts.
The Padua stop takes place in a context of growing attention towards the benefit model. According to data from the Benefit Companies Observatory, updated to June 30, 2026, Italy counts 5,968 Benefit Companies, with a 15.64% year-on-year increase and a total production value of over €71 billion. Piedmont accounts for 7.07% of Benefit Companies nationwide.
For Torino Social Impact, the spread of the benefit model represents a key area of work to strengthen the culture of impact, promote business models oriented towards the common benefit and support the evolution of the social economy, also through opportunities for dialogue, networking and the promotion of the most innovative experiences.
Applications are open until September 14, 2026.
