On October 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM, an online webinar will present the new Call for the Development of Strategies and Pathways for the Responsible and Safe Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Social Economy, aimed at private non-profit organisations operating in Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d’Aosta. A structured pathway designed to support organisations in the responsible adoption of AI through training, organisational assessment, coaching and strategic support.
How can Artificial Intelligence become a tool serving social economy organisations, improving their processes, skills and ability to generate value without losing sight of the central role of people?
This is the perspective behind the new Call for the Development of Strategies and Pathways for the Responsible and Safe Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Social Economy, promoted by Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and the Fondo per la Repubblica Digitale.
The Call is developed in collaboration with Factory Plus, AI4I – Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence, SocialTechno and Digital Pills, bringing together scientific, technological and training expertise to support organisations throughout their AI adoption journey.
The Presentation Webinar
On October 30 at 11:00 AM, an online webinar will provide an opportunity to explore the objectives of the Call, the pathway offered and the application process.
Register for the webinar
The session is particularly aimed at organisations interested in understanding how to integrate Artificial Intelligence into their processes in a strategic, responsible and safe way, starting from their specific needs and level of organisational maturity.
Who the Call Is For
The initiative is addressed to private non-profit organisations operating in one or more areas of general interest within the social economy, particularly in the social, cultural and/or environmental sectors, with at least one operational office in Piedmont, Liguria and/or Valle d’Aosta.
The pathway aims to strengthen organisations’ skills and capacities, supporting them in analysing their needs and defining innovation strategies that enable them to use AI to improve organisational efficiency and sustainability while generating social value.
From Training to an Innovation Strategy
The Call offers a structured pathway combining AI literacy and training, organisational assessment, coaching and support in developing an innovation strategy.
The aim is not simply to introduce new technological tools, but to help organisations understand where and how AI can genuinely support their mission, internal processes and the needs of the people and communities they serve.
Possible areas of application include organisational efficiency and process automation, economic sustainability and fundraising, data management and impact measurement, service development, and improving relationships with beneficiaries and communities.
Particular attention will be paid to the responsible use of technology, including aspects such as data quality and protection, cybersecurity, risk management and human oversight.
Expressions of interest for the first phase must be submitted by 5:00 PM on December 18, 2026.
