In Lanzo, on the afternoon of Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, at Lanzo Incontra, twenty-three local entities focusing on the environment will gather, meet, and introduce themselves to the community to share the story of “The Common Home that… is there”

The aim of the day is to make known and

appreciate the experiences of these entities (associations, institutions, groups, etc.) in the region that “Take Care of the Common Home” (the environment, to be precise) by promoting eco-friendly behaviors and sharing sustainable best practices.

The afternoon is open to the public, offering an opportunity to get to know and discover, to see and meet various organizations such as CAI (Italian Alpine Club) of Lanzo (youth section), the Management Entity of the Protected Areas of the Royal Parks (Mandria Park), the Al Cicapui association in Groscavallo, the Api Motorway in Fiano, the Walking Groups of Lanzo, the Center for Alpine Community Studies & Research, the Day Center “L’Elfo” in Lanzo, the Devil’s Bridge Committee in Lanzo, the Inter-municipal Consortium of Services for the Environment (CISA), the cooperative SE. SA. MO. “Sentieri e Saperi in Movimento,” Strass and Baratt, the Agricultural Department of the “Federico Albert” Higher Education Institute in Lanzo, the Laboratory of Mental Energy (LEM) in Viù, Pro Natura Animali, the Forestry Sector of the Graian Alps Mountain Union, the Municipality of Balme, the Forest Consortium of the Lanzo Valleys, the Astrofili E.E. Barnard group, herbalist and gatherer Silvia Maria Nepote Fus, the Fondiaria La Chiara Association, the Sentieri dell’Alta Val Malone Association, and the ACLI of Lanzo, the organizing association along with the ATA (Association for the Protection of the Environment in Ciriacese – Lanzo Valleys), celebrating its first 40 years this year.

The event has received the endorsement of the City of Lanzo Torinese.
