Fabermeeting is a national initiative dedicated to digital creativity that, for more than eighteen years, has operated as a structured bridge between young talent and the world of work, connecting creatives under 35 with companies, professional studios, agencies, fablabs, research centres and innovation stakeholders.

Promoted by the SocialTech Association, with the support of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and the Turin Chamber of Commerce, developed within the Torino Social Impact ecosystem and with technical support from Weco impresa sociale, the 2025/2026 edition is built around the concept “Back to the Future / Back to the Skill”, which integrates creative vision and professional competence as inseparable elements of growth pathways in the digital sector.

At the core of the initiative is a free national competition open to young people aged 18 to 35 living in Italy, who may submit works produced in the previous 24 months in the main fields of digital creativity – from video and animation to visual design, from gaming and AR/VR to web, app and social projects – with the aim not only of showcasing the best works, but of turning them into concrete opportunities for engagement with the market.

The prize for the selected winners is not symbolic, but consists of access to the Fabermeeting, a two-day event to be held in Turin in May 2026 that represents a truly operational meeting space, where participants present their projects to professionals and companies, take part in workshops and thematic working tables, and gain access to special awards offered by partners, such as internships, collaborations, mentorships and training pathways.

Alongside this dimension, Fabermeeting introduces and strengthens the “Back to the Skill” strand, developed in collaboration with the “Unlock” initiative of Città dell’Educazione 16+, which involves young people aged 16 to 29 in pathways to discover creative and digital professions, valuing the competition winners as role models and mentors through paid workshops and peer-to-peer meetings.

As a whole, Fabermeeting takes shape as an evolving ecosystem that overcomes the divide between education and work, promoting a continuous model of learning, experimentation and professional integration, capable of generating social and economic value for young people, companies and the territory, and of contributing in a structural way to the development of the national creative and digital market.
