WaterView is born in 2015 as a Polytechnic of Turin spin-off company, and proposes innovative and patented solutions for real-time weather monitoring, leveraging the potential of common video surveillance cameras.

Through computer vision and artificial intelligence techniques, WaterView provides weather monitoring, alerting, and forecasting services, to support clients’ decision-making process and to protect their strategic assets.

WaterView innovation aims to satisfy an increasing need for smart solutions in the climate change adaptation area that allow to enhance roads, electric and cities’ infrastructures resilience to extreme and routine weather events.

WaterView services make possible the monitoring and identification of weather events like intensity rainfall, temperature and roads visibility, flooded areas, snow covered or wet pavement, smoke plumes in outdoor environment, providing infrastructures’ managers with effective tools and pieces of information to take decisions that could boost businesses productivity, and most importantly increase end users and citizens’ safety.
