Idee in Rete generates social impact by building cooperative networks, promoting generative welfare models, and developing shared projects among local communities, social enterprises, and third-sector organizations. Founded in 2003 as a national consortium of social cooperatives, the network acts as an open space for collaboration, innovation, and the exchange of skills, always placing communities and their needs at the center.
The consortium’s social impact is mainly reflected in its ability to:
- foster social inclusion and sustainable development through national and European projects;
- create connections among cooperatives, institutions, and local territories to strengthen responses to social needs;
- promote social innovation and co-design processes;
- enhance the value of social work and cooperation as tools for collective change.
Idee in Rete also works to strengthen the strategic role of the Third Sector by investing in communication, training, digital innovation, and community participation. Its goal is to build a collaborative system where skills, projects, and resources are shared in order to generate widespread social value.
