Founded in 1983, Il Porto ETS is a therapeutic community in Moncalieri, just outside Turin, accredited by the Italian National Health Service. We work with people living with personality disorders, psychosis and substance use disorders, helping them recover, rebuild their independence and find their place back in society.

Our gate is always open. We believe care should connect people, not isolate them, and that every path to recovery starts with freedom and dignity. The people who live here come and go, hold jobs and are part of local life. Our art studio, theatre workshop, the vegetable garden we run with a neighbouring farm and our work placement programmes aren’t extras: they’re central to how we care.

But we want to go further. We want Il Porto to be a cultural hub, a place the wider community walks into, where mental health is something people talk about openly, without fear.

That’s why we’re always looking for companies, organisations and institutions who share our vision. Together, we can create opportunities for work, training and participation, and help shape new models of community mental health.
