Banca Etica is the first and still the only Italian bank entirely dedicated to ethical finance. It has been operating for 27 years throughout the national territory through a network of branches and advisors, as well as through home and mobile banking services. Banca Etica collects the savings of responsible citizens and organizations and uses them entirely to finance projects aimed at the collective well-being. Today, Banca Etica has 50,000 shareholders and 100 million euros in share capital; it manages over 2.5 billion euros in savings and has granted over 1.2 billion euros in loans to support initiatives by organizations, families, and businesses in the fields of social cooperation and innovation, international cooperation, culture and quality of life, environmental protection, responsible tourism, organic agriculture, the right to housing, and legality.
Banca Etica offers individuals, businesses, and organizations a full range of banking and financial services: current accounts, loans, mortgages, insurance and corporate welfare services, and investments.
The Banca Etica Group includes:
- Etica Sgr: An asset management company that exclusively offers ethical mutual funds. The funds offered by the Banca Etica Group strictly exclude all companies active in controversial sectors, such as weapon production and trade, fossil fuels, intensive farming, and states that do not respect human rights. Instead, these ethical funds invest in companies that are virtuous from a social and environmental responsibility standpoint.
- Impact Sgr: Specialized in impact finance, which has been the delegated manager of Etica Sgr funds since March 2026.
- Fondazione Finanza Etica: A foundation that promotes research and awareness initiatives on critical financial education.
- CreSud: An organization that provides financial resources and assistance services to microfinance organizations, fair and sustainable trade producers, associations, and NGOs across Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
