Valeria Fabbroni
Valeria is, humorously, an “architect by accident” with 25 years of experience in designing, managing, and supervising humanitarian responses to crises and emergency contexts in over 15 countries worldwide, working with NGOs, UN agencies, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Her expertise spans health, WASH, shelter, food assistance, demining, and basic service provision, while also maintaining an academic trajectory that includes teaching appointments at Fordham University (New York), Universidad de Managua (Nicaragua), and Cairo University, among others. Since 2006, she has been delivering training on European Commission rules for Project Cycle Management and Design in Humanitarian Settings for NGOs and UN agencies.
Since 2022, she has been a lecturer at the University of Pisa, teaching courses on “Continuity and Management of Humanitarian Crises” and “Project Cycle Management.”
