Matteo Satta is a professional with extensive experience in the fields of Smart Cities and European Affairs, specializing in the design and management of initiatives focused on urban innovation, digital transformation, and European Union funding programmes. For over ten years, he has supported cities, public authorities, and international organizations in developing smart, sustainable, and future-oriented solutions.

His professional path in the urban field began in 2014 with the city of Issy-les-Moulineaux, where he coordinated participation in European and international projects, promoting the integration of digital technologies into local policies and the development of transnational partnerships.

He is currently Scientific Coordinator, for ANCI Toscana, of the European project CLIMABOROUGH, part of the “100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities” mission, contributing to the definition of strategies for climate transition and urban digitalization.

An expert selected by the European Commission for the Horizon and Digital Europe programmes, he has also served as Lead Expert for URBACT III. He is the Founder and General Manager of Urban Agora and a member of the GlobalAI and Major Cities of Europe associations, actively promoting the ethical and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in cities.
