Dr. Giacomo Gerlin is a dynamic, results-oriented professional with over twenty years of experience in Training, International Project Management, and strategic Grant Writing. His expertise is deeply rooted in the design and management of the full lifecycle of complex projects, with particular specialization in securing funding from the European Commission (including key programmes such as Erasmus+ KA1/KA2, Interreg, CERV, and Creative Europe).

Actively collaborating with the Social Economy and the Third Sector, Dr. Gerlin brings targeted expertise, further strengthened by his experience as a trainer in Social and Circular Economy and within Master’s programmes in Social Enterprise Management.

His distinctive competencies include the use of advanced methodologies such as AGILE & SCRUM Project Management, Project Cycle Management (PCM), and the rigorous implementation of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) frameworks. He is a specialist in developing Impact Assessment methodologies, ensuring the measurability and effectiveness of social outcomes.

With solid experience also as a Senior Trainer and a forward-looking perspective, he integrates innovation into project design, including specific training in Project Design and Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) to optimize processes and enhance the competitiveness and cutting-edge quality of European proposals.
