Enrico Sabatini is a European project designer with over 9 years of experience in managing and writing EU projects, focusing on Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, COSME, Interreg, CERV, and ESF+. He co-coordinated the project area at Open Impact, successfully completing more than 150 proposals and securing over €1.5 million in direct funding for high-impact initiatives.
Specialized in social innovation, urban/cultural regeneration, and social inclusion, Enrico has worked closely with key stakeholders in the social economy ecosystem — SMEs, public bodies, social organizations, and networks — helping them design solutions addressing global challenges related to sustainability, digitalization, and inclusion. His approach integrates impact assessment tools from the early co-design phases, ensuring that projects generate lasting and traceable systemic effects. This strategy strengthens evidence of change and builds stakeholder confidence in the project’s validity and sustainability, ensuring measurable long-term results.
Currently, as a freelance consultant, Enrico supports organizations in leading transformative processes and adopting effective solutions to tackle future challenges. He is actively involved in building high-impact partnerships, designing capacity-building and scale-up pathways, and fostering systemic evolution at local, regional, and European levels.
