“A dream seems like a dream until you start working on it. And then it can become something infinitely bigger.”
ADRIANO OLIVETTI

VICO SRL – SOCIETA’ BENEFIT is a Piedmontese company founded in 1977 in Turin as an Olivetti dealer. It provides hardware and software products and services ranging from information technology to office automation, complemented by a consulting approach focused on systems engineering and cybersecurity.

We can proudly state that our company has guided its daily business decisions and strategies in the spirit of Adriano Olivetti, an extraordinary entrepreneur who contributed to the development of our country in the first half of the 20th century.
His dedication to the pursuit of beauty, respect for the local environment, and the inclusiveness of his workers was a key aspect of his vision. Precisely because this legacy has become part of our corporate DNA, or rather, our DN”O,” in 2025, to make our journey more concrete and official, we decided to amend our bylaws and become a benefit corporation.
Main clients: Professional firms in the tertiary sector, SMEs, and public entities. We also provide technical assistance on behalf of the parent company for printer fleets in the Piedmont region for large institutions and multinational companies.
Main activities: rental and support of printing and data processing devices, installation of client-server networks and infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery systems, cybersecurity protection devices, electronic cash registers, and retail systems.

The “Vico circular” process: starting from an analysis of our processes, in recent years we have successfully implemented a circular economy approach that involves reusing 70% of equipment returned at the end of rental contracts, thus significantly reducing the scrapping of WEEE products. This technological recycling process, for computers, notebooks, multifunction printers, plotters, and many other devices, has allowed us, leveraging our experience, to identify returned products, certify their functionality through in-house inspection and testing, and then remarket them for profit at a lower rental rate, more suitable for small businesses, or sell them to non-profit organizations, with the addition of our technology consulting services.
The “CO2 recovery” project: At the beginning of the year, we decided to classify the CO2 emissions produced by our delivery and technical assistance vehicles, as well as by our headquarters’ systems, to develop and implement a process to reduce, and eventually eliminate, these emissions by supporting new tree plantations. This project was launched with the company TREEDOM.
Also in the area of benefits, our new development plan includes collaborations with local nonprofit organizations to share our expertise, including membership in Torino Social Impact.
