Uisp (Unione Italiana Sport Per tutti/e) is a sports and social promotion association that aims to extend the right to sport to all citizens. Since 2022, Uisp has been recognized as a national network. Sport per tutti/e is a social good that concerns health, quality of life, integration, education, and relationships between people of all ages. As such, it deserves public recognition and protection. For this reason, Uisp, both at the national and territorial levels (where it is deeply rooted and widespread), collaborates with institutions, and public and private entities to improve people’s well-being.

A New Right of Citizenship

Social sport for all is a right, a direct reference to a new quality of life to be asserted day by day, both in traditional facilities and in natural environments. Sport for all interprets a new right of citizenship, belongs to “life policies,” and, while experimenting with numerous competitive activities, is legitimized based on the values of:

• Participation and solidarity

• Defense of human rights and dignity

• Respect and environmental sustainability

• Inclusion and international cooperation

• Fighting against every form of discrimination, prejudice, and racism

These values are not attributable to the mere pursuit of results or athletic performance. For this reason, we are convinced of the social value of sport.

Identity: “Sportpertutti/tutte”

Sportpertutti/tutte is a word that represents and synthesizes the identity of Uisp, one of the largest sports and social promotion associations in our country, with over one million members and thousands of affiliated associations and sports clubs.

Sportpertutti/tutte means continuing the research, quality, and training of Uisp educators to innovate sports activities and make them increasingly “tailor-made for you.” At the center of Uisp is the person—citizens of all ages, each with their own rights, motivations, and differences to be recognized and valued. This includes attention to people with disabilities, gender and sexual orientation differences, diverse traditions, and the interculturality that every person helps to enrich.

Global Growth and 2030 Goals

We believe that sport is an unmissable opportunity for global growth, education, and social cohesion. Everyone should have the possibility to practice it and have equal opportunities for access.

Through sport, Uisp works at 360 degrees to improve the world, our country, and the society in which we live. For this reason, Uisp takes the 2030 sustainable development goals developed by the United Nations (UN) as a reference for its actions. In the document, sport is explicitly mentioned as an “important factor in promoting sustainable development.
