To.o.l – Torino Open Lab is a spin-off of Teatro della Caduta and an advanced design space dedicated to under-35s, operating at the intersection of culture, digital innovation, and social impact. It does not simply deliver activities, but develops transferable models, methods, and skills. With To.o.l, people can experiment with real roles, competencies, and responsibilities.

We are living in a phase where skills evolve faster than the structures meant to develop them. To.o.l was created to bridge this gap: transforming learning, experimentation, and orientation into concrete, accessible processes capable of generating autonomy.
Our approach is experimentation as a method. To.o.l works in cycles: testing, learning, adapting. Experimentation is not a risk, but a design capability. This approach allows us to operate in complex contexts while maintaining flexibility and vision.

To.o.l designs and implements advanced training and guidance pathways, processes of cultural and social digitalization, actions for urban and community regeneration, and incubation models for individuals and projects.

We design for those at the margins: To.o.l develops interventions that combine culture, relationships, and operational tools in contexts of vulnerability. We do not “deliver activities,” but build frameworks for participation and well-being. We believe in projects that cut across sectors—culture, science, prevention, education. We build bridges between different fields of expertise to make content understandable, accessible, and useful.
To.o.l is, in fact, a skills-oriented incubator: we support individuals and groups in transforming ideas into sustainable practices. Incubation is a continuous process, not a one-off event.

To.o.l engages with public bodies and policymakers, foundations and philanthropic organizations, cultural and social organizations, schools, communities, and local networks.
