PerMicro is one of the most important microcredit companies in Italy and it operates throughout the national territory with a mission of social inclusion.

“We create employment and social inclusion through the professional provision of credits and microcredits, financial education and the offer of start-up and company support services, in a perspective of the sustainability of our business. We turn to competent people with a good business idea and to people with primary financial needs (home, health, education), excluded from the traditional credit channels due to insufficient credit history or precarious work position.”

PerMicro was born in 2007 in Turin thanks to the support of Oltre Venture and Fondazione Paideia, the two founding partners. Between 2008 and 2018 the social structure of PerMicro has expanded, which today aggregates the interest of subjects very different from each other but united by the sole objective of favouring social inclusion and employment through the practice of microcredit.

PerMicro is also a founding member of the Italian Network of Microfinance Operators (RITMI) and an active member of the European Microfinance Network (EMN).

Since its inception in 2007, PerMicro has granted 21,660 credits for a value of over 157 million euros, helping to support many families in temporary difficulty and favouring the creation and development of entrepreneurial activities in various sectors, from small businesses to restaurants, l crafts, personal services and many others.

On the website www.permicro.it, research is available on the evaluation of the social impact of PerMicro, conducted by the Tiresia Center of the Politecnico di Milano and updated periodically.
