The Mario Giansone Foundation ETS was established with the aim of preserving and promoting the legacy of Turin-born artist Mario Giansone (1915–1997), a prominent figure in 20th-century Italian and international sculpture. From works in stone, wood, and bronze to tapestries, woodcuts, and prints, Giansone developed a distinctive sculptural language that bridges figurative tradition and the informal, while remaining faithful to a rigorous vision of matter. The Foundation works to enhance and share this heritage through exhibitions, publications, seminars, and workshops, fostering a dialogue between the artist’s work and future generations.

In the heart of Sant’Ambrogio di Torino, at via Sestriere 1, the Foundation has undertaken an ambitious exhibition project: the creation of the Mario Giansone Museum, a space designed to house more than 250 sculptures, woodcuts, and prints, offering an immersive journey into the Maestro’s creative universe and serving as a cultural hub for the local community.
The opening of the new museum is scheduled for spring 2026, marking a significant step in the Foundation’s mission to make the artist’s entire body of work accessible to the public.
