Saval Cooperative is a social enterprise, a social cooperative for production and labor, operating on a non-profit basis.

For the Cooperative, it is crucial to develop expertise in researching and activating integration pathways with institutional and non-institutional stakeholders in the area, including schools, local authorities, and associations. Therefore, exploring all formal and informal opportunities that the context and territory can offer represents opportunities for integration, guided by the following principles:

  • The understanding that interventions and/or services should be seen as part of a network/system of services, which can be expanded and strengthened.

  • The specific educational contribution, which, among other things, inherently includes methodologies and skills focused on community engagement and territorial rootedness.

  • The territory itself, understood both as the historical home of the users and as a place to build (new) meaningful relationships through information and awareness activities, as well as by identifying and involving local stakeholders.

Our Cooperative operates exclusively within the Aosta Valley region, focusing its work on managing the La Renetta Day Centre. This service, accredited under current regional regulations since 2021, is dedicated to users of mental health services and can accommodate up to 20 people at a time. Activities are carried out in close collaboration and integration with the therapeutic and rehabilitative work of the Regional Mental Health Department of the Aosta Valley, our partner and main interlocutor.
