ASC Piemonte, founded in 2016 by national and regional associations and networks, is a third sector organisation and serves as the regional branch of ASC in Piedmont. ASC is the largest Italian association dedicated to civil service and the promotion of civic participation. With over 100 member organisations across the eight provinces of Piedmont, ASC Piemonte promotes active participation projects for young people, alongside initiatives focused on training, personal growth, and organisational development.
Through targeted projects, ASC Piemonte is committed to promoting the values of peace, non-violence, and civil service as meaningful opportunities for education in active citizenship.
ASC Piemonte develops projects in collaboration with associations, schools, public administrations, and private organisations involved in education and community development.
The association also supports NEETs, promotes the social inclusion of vulnerable individuals, and works to reduce the digital divide through projects aimed at the digital transformation of organisations and digital facilitation.
ASC Piemonte APS carries out its activities through:
- Training pathways that integrate knowledge, practical skills, and personal development, addressed to young people, schools, and organisations
- Promotion of international training opportunities
- Tutoring and support programmes for active job search
- Digital facilitation and the responsible and inclusive use of technological tools
- Design and implementation of the Universal Civil Service (SCU)
- Opportunities for youth engagement and leadership
